We've put together this site in response to the flood of calls and emails that we've received asking whether we are safe and how we are doing. I've included some photos that I took shortly before and after the collapse of the World Trade Center towers. The initial pictures were taken in front of our home at Gateway Plaza in Battery Park City next to the WTC before anyone near us realized that the towers were in danger of collapse. These photos were taken just moments before the first tower (the south tower) collapsed. The subsequent pictures are of my family's escape from the disaster, after we had been engulfed by the avalanche of smoke and debris from the collapse of the south tower. |
